How We Started
During the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, Adam Wood and his business partner, Tom Eastaway, decided to leave their established roles in the property industry and launch a new kind of investment company, Advantage Investment. Adam and Tom’s vision was to start a company that places the client at the heart of the deal and that tailors their approach to each individual client, a 360 degree service, an approach unlike any other in the industry.
Starting with just a shared laptop and two mobile phones, Adam’s visionary leadership has rapidly transformed the company from a start-up to an established company right at the centre of Liverpool’s regeneration.

Major Milestones
2020 – Laying the Foundation
In 2020, we opened our first office. With a clear vision and unwavering commitment to excellence, we began to assemble a team of talented professionals who would go on to shape the company’s future. Notably, this was the year Ryan Caramba-Coker and Daniel Myatt joined our team, both of whom have risen to become key Sales Managers, playing an integral role in our growth. 2020 was truly the foundation upon which our success was built.
2021 – Investing in Innovation
Our sales and marketing team expanded, bringing in fresh ideas and strategic insights. Lucy Slater, our Head of Marketing, joined the team and implemented key strategies that strengthened Advantage’s brand presence and market reach. This investment in innovation set the stage for rapid growth and reinforced our position in the market.
2022 – A Landmark Year
In 2022, we reached a significant milestone with the successful completion of a key project within the £5.5 billion Liverpool Waters regeneration area. Impressively, all units were sold out in just six weeks, showcasing our ability to deliver exceptional opportunities to property investors. The achievement was a testament to the strength of our sales and marketing team and our commitment to sourcing only the finest properties for our clients.
2023 – Taking the Brand Global and Our First Exclusive Development
In 2023, Advantage Investment took a bold step onto the global stage by entering the Marbella property market. Opening an office in this sought-after destination marked the beginning of our global expansion. This move has positioned us to serve clients in some of the world’s most desirable property markets, further solidifying our role as a leading global investment firm.
Additionally, that same year, we secured our first exclusive development in Liverpool city centre—Camden House. This 44-unit student property project offered investors an opportunity to enter the Liverpool student market at below-market value, aligning perfectly with the city’s ongoing urban regeneration efforts.
2024 – Best Property Agency in the UK
In 2024, Advantage was honoured with five prestigious awards at the International Property Awards. These accolades included Best Property Agency in the UK, Best Property Agency in Merseyside, Best Single Office Agency in Merseyside, Best Marketing for Property Agency in the UK, and Best Marketing for Property Agency in Merseyside. The International Property Awards recognise the leaders in the property investment industry, and we are proud to stand out as a leader in Liverpool and the UK-wide market.
