Quarter 2 2024 Update

The excavation works in our Central Point development have reached an impressive 90% completion milestone. This pivotal phase has witnessed remarkable progress.

 

In parallel with the excavation, the substructure works have also progressed 

significantly, now standing at an impressive 90% completion rate. This phase is 

crucial in establishing the foundation for the structural integrity of Central Point, and I commend everyone involved for their tireless efforts.

 

The team has been making excellent progress in constructing the core walls below ground level. Currently, the bases and walls have reached a depth of 3.5 meters, marking an 80% completion rate.

 

Another significant milestone achieved is the completion of the concrete ring beam atop the core walls. This critical element plays a vital role in 

accommodating brickwork and reinforced concrete planks for the floor slab. 

 

This component is now 80% complete, showcasing our 

attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Quarter 1 2024 Update

As of the latest assessment, Central Point’s groundworks have reached an impressive 

 

completion rate of 65-70%. This significant progress underscores the dedication and efficiency of our team, who have been working tirelessly to ensure that all 

aspects of the groundworks are executed to the highest standards.

 

One of the notable achievements in this phase of the project is the construction of shear walls, which are essential for providing structural stability to the building. Additionally, the completion of lift pits marks another important milestone, laying the groundwork for the installation of elevators in the future.

 

Furthermore, the site has been meticulously prepared for the commencement of operations.

Quarter 4 2023 Update

The structural concrete frame is progressing well with the columns and shear walls almost complete. The formwork is all on site to form first floor transfer slab. With a large element of this also in place the pouring of the slab has also commenced.

 

Once this slab is complete the Steel Formed Structure (SFS) framing will hit site towards the end of July. This is a major milestone for the project as the external frame, along with the intermediate concrete floor slabs and roof will be poured progressively over the next couple of months.

 

In total there is in excess of 2800 cubic metres of reinforced concrete in the frame and transfer slab, forming a significant feat of design engineering in itself.

Quarter 4 2022 Update

Central Point is a brand new development, which will offer 67 residential apartments over seven floors, adding to the already stellar collection of buildings across Liverpool.
